Storage expansion options on Esprimo Q556 MPC3

Postby Zombie » Mon Jun 05, 2023 12:00

Made an offer to an ebay vendor for a 2nd hand Esprimo Q556 MPC3 (8GB RAM, I5 6400t) with the intent of repurposing it into a lightweight plex / media storage server. This is the listing in particular (got it for les than the £70) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115722244636 ... media=COPY

I've had mixed reports some saying these support x2 2.5inch drives. Can someone please confirm if that is the case. And if so, what cable I require as I am told the Fujitsu mobo requires a proprietary SATA data & power cable combo to connect its drives. Anyone who can point me in the right direction - I will be grateful.

Worst case scenario I will connect an additional 2.5" drive via a caddy I've got but I would rather have it internal.
