Where are the win 7 NVME drivers for Esprimo q556?

Postby Glaurung » Fri May 26, 2023 11:49

Sometimes I still need to run an app in Windows 7. I have an old Esprimo q556 that I want to use for this.
But, I cannot find the NVME drivers to enable Windows 7 to see the SSD anywhere on Fujitsu's support site. I'm very puzzled that despite fully supporting downgrading the computer to Win 7, Fujitsu does not seem to have the drivers you need to enable Win 7 to work with a blade SSD anywhere on their site.

Hello and thank you for contact with Fujitsu Forum Support.

The FUJITSU ESPRIMO Q556/2/D, featuring full desktop PC functionality in a stylish and compact mini PC, is a real eye-catcher on your desk.

Unfortunately, but the ESPRIMO Q556 (with D3403) has only the M.2 module for M.2 WLAN 802.11ac (2x2) and BT 4.1 (dedicated regions only, up to BT 4.2 depending on OS version). The M.2 slot in Q556 is not for the NVME SSD disks and we don't have such drivers.

Best regards,
Fujitsu Forum Support
