Hallo,

die H920 lässt sich reproduzierbar in den Win8-Reparaturmodus bringen, wenn man den Win8 SATA-Treiber installiert, der auf der offiziellen Fujitsu Treiber-Site für Win8 angeboten wird.
"Reparatur" dann nur noch durch Auswahl eines Wiederherstellungspunktes möglich. Darauf bin ich gestoßen, da es ein anscheinend ein grundsätzliches Treiberproblem mit Win8 geben muss und ich deshalb versucht habe, die mitgelieferten Win8-Treiber z.T. die durch die auf der Support-Website zu ersetzen.

Ok, unabhängig davon, dass der SATA-Treiber nicht funktioniert, tritt hin und wieder das Problem auf, dass sich die Maus in Win8 nicht mehr bewegen lässt und der Rechner dann beim Runterfahren hängt und sich schließlich mit einer Fehlermeldung selbst ausschaltet (Win8-Meldung, dass ein ordnungsgemäßer shutdown nicht möglich ist). Die Auswertung der Dumps zeigt folgende Resultate:

Es deutet also alles auf ein Treiberproblem hin. Grafik, LAN, CAM usw. sind auf neuestem Stand. Ich meine auch, dass dieses Phänomen nur nach einem Hibernate auftritt, bin mir dessen aber nicht ganz sicher. Weiß jemand Rat?

Das Problem scheint nicht die Workstation zu sein, sondern der USB-Hub des Fujitsu-Monitors P24W1. Insbesondere dann, wenn sich der Monitor entsprechend der Energie-Einstellungen in den Sleep-Mode verabschiedet und später wieder reaktiviert wird. Nachdem sich das Problem immer durch einen Freeze des Mauszeigers ankündigte, habe ich die Maus wie die Tastatur direkt an die Dockingstation des H920 gehängt (hing zuerst am USB-Hub des Monitors). Seitdem ist Ruhe. Vielleicht hilft dieser Hinweis jemanden mit einem ähnlichen Problem.
