Audio / Video Sync and SIM card issues

Hi,

ever since I got my M532 I have always had problems with audio /video sync, mainly on BBC iplayer and also the "tvcatchup" app. Youtube seems to be ok.
I thought that maybe a system update might resolve it but after 2 updates (im on the latest) the problem is still there. Any ideas?

Also, my tablet always says "no SIM card" even when i have a SIM inserted (and yes I have followed the instructions to the letter)

I have found the same problems, Google movies and YouTube seem fine but the iplayer and tvcatchup have a very bad delay. I put in some tech support requests and had no luck so called Fujitsu support direct, who just blamed the BBC. I think that something is wrong with the firmware for this device, or the software and Fujitsu need to sort it out.

Why don't you try to call support and mention that you are not the only one and that its not just a problem with the iPlayer? This is what they asked me to do when I emailed tech support;

Given the nature and complexity of the reported issue we would request you to call into the warranty helpline to formally report the issue and go through any required diagnostics.

The number to call is 08702 434390. The line is open from 9am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

This tablet has never worked properly with the bbc iplayer and I'm presuming it never will...uk users be warned!

Hi. Did anyone ever get anywhere with this? I spoke with helpdesk the other day and they seemed oblivious to any probs.

Martin did not come back to the forum, BBC say its the tablet and Fujitsu blame the BBC. Catch 22?
