I recently installed a Sierra Wireless EM7455 LTE card inside a Lifebook U9310, and directly after inserting the new SIM card, Windows 10 displayed “WIND I” (Italian mobile operator) but don't connect. The SIM works on old Fujitsu Notebook.
Just installed it worked for a few days then stopped.
To troubleshoot, I went into “Network & Internet Settings,” selected “Cellular,” and then clicked the “Change Adapter Settings” link. This brings up a window of all network adapters, and so I right clicked on the Cellular/Sierra Wireless adapter and selected “Diagnose.” The error message displayed was:
Enter a SIM PIN2 to unlock the mobile broadband device
The mobile broadband device is locked with SIM PIN2. Contact your mobile operator for assistance with unlocking the device.
I've installed the last driver from Fujitsu website but the problem remains :
Sierra Wireless EM7455 WWAN Driver + Firmware UpdaterVersione (Build/Data)
7.76.5070.0303_gen02.33.03.00 (02/09/2020) and windows 10 is updated to 2004 release with all the updates.
Other manufacturer like Lenovo, HP solve this problem with a driver update.
Can someone who has had the same problem help me?
