E754 with core i7 very slow on battery

Postby Sabose » Thu Mar 17, 2016 18:12

Hi,
for reasons unknow to me my E754 eally throttles computing power when unplugged. It has started a couple of days ago. On battery the spped is reduced to 0,77 GHz - regardless of BIOS or Windows configuration.

In the Windows settings (Win10) I selected High Performance as power plan. I have the Fujitsu's Power Saving Utility with different settings. Regardless what I do, the speed sticks to 0,77 GHz and the computer is realy slow.

When plugged to AC, the speed is the usual 2,2 GHz when needed. Changing the BIOS didn't show any effect.

I remember that I had this issue two years ago and somehow found a solution (after nobody answered in this forum). I can't remember what I did back then and am really stressed out by the superslow computer.

Thanks in advance!

I have exactly the same problem with a H770!

BIOS and all device drivers are up to date. I found the limitation signals "BD PROCHOT" active for CPU and GPU on battery. The temperatures are okay (~60 °C).

Does anyone have a solution for this issue?
