V6535 hard drive crashed

Postby FB_Liaoa » Mon Mar 12, 2012 17:21

I have a V6535 laptop and the hard drive recently crashed with the following error message, 0x0000007B (0x80786B58, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000). I've tried rebooting from the win 7 DVD, but the hard drive is not detectable. Please help! I'm totally out of wits. Please, any assistance will be highly appreciated.

check in the bios if the hard disk is recognised.
(bios is accessed by alternate tapping between DEL or F2)
If the hdd is no longer seen in the bios you will need to replace the hard disk.

Hi try running fujitsu diagnostic
link here: http://tinyurl.com/FJdiags
You need to burn a cd on a working machine as its an iso image (use nero burner or active@iso)
