[Pi1536] Volume control slider

Postby Whazaa » Fri Jan 08, 2010 11:17

Hello and thank you for reading,

I've owned an Amilo Pi 1536 for over 2 years now and I have never had any problems with it. For this I thank Fujitsu and wish to complement them on building such an excellent value for money system.

I recently installed a fresh copy of windows 7 on it and everything is working flawlessly except for the volume control slider. I have no idea which component in the laptop controls this slider but would like to get it working again since pressing Fn + F5/F6 all the time gets rather tiresome.

Are there any particular drivers I can download to get this working again?

Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,
Sam

Ok I managed to fix the issue by installing Realtec drivers, which apparently control the audio component.

64-bit: http://www.rechner-support.com/filebase ... ?fid=16871

Hopefully this proves useful to someone :)

Hey,

I got the links from someone else too. The version of realtek driver I have installed is:
Realtek high definition audio driver 6.0.1.6013

Hope that helps,
Sam

Thank you! :) The R2.40 version worked, even though it's weird that the newest version (R2.50) doens't work.. :/ Thanks again! :)
