Q9000 BIOS-Recovery?

Postby lschuetz » Thu Mar 11, 2021 10:41

BIOS UpdateBIOS Recovery UpdateBIOSRecoveryUpdateRecoveryUpdate►Prepare a boot-capable USB stick as describedunder "Flash BIOS update with a USB stick".►Switch off the system and unplug it from the mains supply.►Open the casing and enableRecoveryusing the jumper / DIP switch on the system board. You willfind details on this in the technical manual for the system board.►Connect the prepared USB stick and remove all other bootable USB devices. If the Admin package on the prepared USB stick does not match the BIOSversion of the system (e.g. Admin package for BIOS R1.2.0, but BIOS R1.3.0 isenabled on the system), no screen outputs will be possible in recovery mode. TheRecovery Update will be carried out automatically in this case.During the Recovery Update, a recurring short signal tone will sound. Recovery of thesystem has succeeded if you hear the repeated signal sequence "short-short-long-long"after a long signal tone. The Recovery process can take a few minutes.►Connect the system to the mains supply again and switch it on.►Usecd DOSto changedirectory, launch BIOS Recovery Update with the commandDosFlashand follow the further instructions.►After the recovery process hasfinished, switch off the system anddisconnect it from the mains supply.►Remove the USB stick.►For all jumpers / DIP switches which were changed, return them to theiroriginal positions and close the casing.►Connect the system to the mains supply again and switch it on.The system will now boot up with the new version of BIOS.►Check the settings in the BIOS Setup. If necessary, configure the settings once again.

Vielen Dank!
Auf dem Board lese ich "i57QMx-vP". Gibt es auch dafür eine Recovery-Prozedur?
