Pocket Loox 420 - WM2003 SE or not?

Postby cd0201 » Thu Aug 04, 2005 12:12

Can someone (preferably who recently purchased a NEW Pocket Loox 420 in Germany) please let me know with which version of Windows Mobile the Loox comes with?
I know there's WM2003 SE available for (a paid) download, but do they ship the new units with it?
Thanks,
Chris

Here in the UK (and probably all of Europe) the Loox 4xx series still ships with standard WM2003. I don't think it's an essential upgrade, but worth the small fee just to get landscape mode in my opinion Image

Not sure if it's better, but it should improve the performance overall. Search for the Windows Mobile SE upgrade on this site, FS provide lots of info.
I'm trying to find out about WLAN myself. If anyone knows what Wifi cards I can use in a Loox 410 please let me know!!
