Word 2000 + Windows Me

Can't get Word 2000 to work with Windows Me, won't start + crashes PC. Word 7 (MS Office 95) works fine. Any ideas?

As far as I know, you have to install Windows 2000 first, because it has a double boot function, which Me not has. Than you can install Me on the same partition. I've only tried the opposite way and that didn't work.<BR>That's what I've heard. Make a backup before you try to expierience with that, it's tricky.

Sorry, guess I got something wrong. Thought you ment Win2000. I have the Works Suite 2000, which containes Word 2000, and Millenium and haven't had any troubles with that, but the Works sheet always comes with an error message, so I use an old version of Excell instead of (97). Hi,<BR>Try this. Find and delete the normal.dot file on your system and re-open Word 2000. This will work. <P>wenno
