VIA RAID TOOL

Postby SRLEAHIG » Fri Nov 11, 2005 23:42

I'm having trouble solving a friends problem. She deleted the RAID Tool from her startup menu and i guess from her entire computer. Its a Fujitsu Amilo M Series. Shortly afterwards, the computer would no longer boot. I was told that because she doesn't have an IDE hard drive, the RAID tool is what enables the windows software to load. The computer can be accessed using a Linux boot disk but windows will not load. Upon each recovery attempt, the computer says that it can not detect a hard drive. What can fix this?? Any information would help, the original system restore disks from factory were lost in transit from Germany to US.
Sincerely SRLEAHIG
