Primergy 470 CPU upgrade

Postby dmc1219 » Sun Oct 16, 2005 18:55

I have a Primergy 470 with a D1031 mother board Version A22 GS4. According to all data I can find on this MB it should take a pair of 800MHz PIII's. It originally had a pair of 550's which work fine. When I try to install the 800's it powers up & immediately turns itself off. What am I missing? I did set the dip switches etc
