Primergy 270 Installation Hangs/Crashes

Postby Osama Salah » Mon Mar 17, 2003 11:55

I am trying to setup W2K on a Primergy 270 using Server Start. When it reaches "Starting Windows 2000" the machine hangs.
I tried also to install W2K directly, after loading the RAID and SCSI drivers the system crashes with a BSOD.
Any ideas?

Actualy it's a Primergy 250.
I just installed another 250 without any problems.
The Problem Maker Primergy when using ServerStart hangs at "Starting Windows 2000" early in the W2K setup stage.
When I tried installing W2K directly using the latest Adpatec Raid Contrl Drivers I get at a later stage during the setup:
STOP 0x000000D1 (0x10001384, 0x0000009, 0x00000001, 0xBFF758EB)
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Address BFF758EB base at BFF71000, Date Stamp 3c7eddfb- SCSIPort.sys
I suspect the onboard SCSI is the problem so I disabled it from the BIOS. But I still am facing the same issue.
Appreciate any feedback.
turned out to be a Dead on Arrival motherboard problem. It has been replaced and is now working fine.
