ServerView Agents no longer working with JRE 7u10

Worked with JRE 7u9, with JRE 7u10 the JRE is no longer recognized, System Monitor/System Configuration etc. just produce a popup about missing Java runtime install and that is all.

OS: W2008R2 SP1, Agents version: neither 6.10.06 nor the new 6.11.03 is working. :x

It took a long time until Java7 was accepted at all by the SV agent software. Therefore I assume, that currently available agents simply don't recognize the latest update.

Time for a downgrade of Java, or time to wait for new agents...

Yeah, it took extremely long time and broke on the very first Java update. Very robust technology indeed. :roll:

Already done. Posted to report the issue and also so that others can avoid it.

P.S. Java once again - write once, debug everywhere. Junk. :evil:
