Hi!
I am trying to install my own Linux 3.4.3 vanilla kernel on one of our RX200 S7 machines and have problems with getting the integrated SATA controller to be accessible.
At the moment I am booting from a USB stick, but I need to connect a SATA SSD to the onboard SATA controller. I tried to build and run the isci driver (which is declared to be supporting the C600/X79 controller of the RX200 S7) but when I insmod the kernel module, the whole machine hangs and needs a power cycle.
I know that Fujitsu is only supporting RHEL and SLES on these machines, and offers the corresponding driver packages in binary format on their support page.
Now my questions:
- is the isci Driver the correct one to use?
- where can I download the sources for the RHEL/SLES kernel drivers that Fujitsu provides?
Many thanks in advance for any hints...
Best Regards,
Heiko
