Flash Geforce 6800 BIOS: Cannot run in DOS mode?

Postby jojojo » Sat Dec 10, 2005 13:08

Hi
I read another post in this forum about flashing the BIOS on Geforce 6800 GO.
My video bios version is 39.49 and I want to upgrade it.
I made a boot disk and saved the flash-files on the disk and rebooted my laptop (AMILO M3438G).
When I type nvflash.bat I get the following error message:
"Cannot be run in DOS-mode"
How do I solve this?

Here is the exact information about my graphics card:
Geforce 6800 GO
Video BIOS version: 5.41.02.39.49
Forceware version: 78.10
What should I do to increase the performance of my graphics card on my AMILO M 3438G laptop?
Is there anything else I can do to increase overall performance?
I heard that there is a new beta-BIOS for the motherboard (1.10?)

BIOS 1.10C is not beta any more! -> see www.fsc-pc.de
Video-BIOS has to be flashed under Windows.
Regards
Borkar
