Alerted by an Nvidia press release, I was looking at the newly announced celsius "workstation notebook" hoping that someone was making a really good new notebook system.
But one look at the specs (16MB video ram, 32MB HDD, XGA (1024x768) screen and I didn't even go on to see if they offered the combo DVD/CDRW drive built in.
As I'm typing this on my Dell i8000 notebook with a gForce2go with 32MB videoram, two 48GB hard drives and a uxga (1600x1200) screen, that Dell doesn't give any special name to, I guess there's nothing coming out that I need to change to anytime soon. Are they all sleeping at their desks? removable keyboard sounds pretty good of course, but then they should also make the screen removable... but even with that, you need good specs - otherwise, why bother.
Maybe someone at Siemens will see this and do something about it, so they don't come out with another obsolete product and great hopes.
