Driver problems

Postby potatoes17 » Tue Aug 18, 2009 14:53

Dear all / Fujistu admin

I have a Cordant desktop pc (serial 3750000761) and have recently reinstalled windows following after getting a virus on the computer.

I do not have the recovery disks and have been looking for 2 drivers. I found the smartlink 56k modem driver on the fujitsu website and while it says the device is working properly I receive an error message saying there is no dial tone.

In addition there is no sound on the computer and the device manager tells me that the Multinedia Audio Controller driver is missing.

Can someone tell me which driver to download to fix the sound problem and if this is related to the dialtone problem with my modem?

Hoping you can help and thank in advance.

PS, this is actually the home pc and as usual my family have 'lost' the disks and mannuals that came with the computer!!

Hello,

here you can find the audio driver: http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/Download/ ... 6FF71FC4C0

Please try this modem driver: http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/Download/ ... 28F2985CAE

If the modem still doesn´t work, it might be defective or you have configured dialing options wrong.

Regards,
Alex
