Scenic X102 PCI Slot

Postby James Smith » Sat Feb 21, 2009 19:05

I want to improve on my on board graphics in order to run more up to date flight simulators on my PC. On E-bay I have seen a number of PCI cards but have been warned that all PCI cards will not necessarily fit the slot on my D2140 Motherboard. My question is what sub- specification of PCI board do I need?

You have 3 standard PCI slots: 32 bit, 33 MHz, 3.3 V, Rev. 2.3.

But I doubt, that a PCI graphic card will boost your system for playing a flight simulator...

Hello Thomas,
I'm still consdering my options in updating my system and I was wondering if more RAM would be helpful.
My machine currently has 256MB which I presume is standard for the scenic X102.
Please advise.
