We've been trying to add a QTEC IDE RAID133 PCI card, model 14426, to a SCALEO X102 PC with no success. We want to run the machine as RAID-1 under Windows XP Professional. (Don't ask why!)
The card activates on bootup, displaying its BIOS add-on, and it is possible to then enter the SCALEO's BIOS in turn.
However, the instructions on the QTEC card state that the SCALEO must then be set to boot from SCSI, not from IDE, for the card to work. The SCALEO, however, does not have SCSI as an option in the settings (limited to IDE, CD, network, etc.)
Has anyone encountered this and is there a solution or workaround? As far as I have seen with other add-on RAID cards, many of them use the SCSI setting too.
Any help gratefully received.
