no boot, continuous beep

Hello,

I have a Siemens T-bird with GA-8SIMLFS20 motherboard
and one memory of Samsung 256 MB PC2100.

But after upgrade of the memory into 512 MB PC 3200
he keeps beeping.

Problem is that we beeps also when we put back the old
memory.

I have already tried a clear CMOS without any result

how did you clear you bios

I'd say that was the memory.
Get another NEW stick of memory to try it.
Otherwise maybe the bios is kaputski.
Groping in the dark, I'd maybe say take the boards battery out for 10 seconds and put it back in again. If nothing else, it'd clear any flamin' passwords put on the admin' side !
You sure you put the memory back in the right place, and the right way round ?
