Quite frankly, if I had waited 4 weeks for a hard disk, I would not be happy.
Phone them back, get the name of the person you speak to, get him/her To "take ownership of the problem"
I am a Field Service Engineer for "a siemens company" if one of my customers has a problem or query, I am expected to "take ownership" of the problem.
Get someone to give you a time scale, of when THEY will get back to YOU, make notes of the times, dates & names. Phone calls into our call centre are monitored. So I assume FS has the same sort of thing.
