Videos are not playing on TV (Ati display driver), how?

Postby Mariner » Fri Mar 09, 2007 0:43

So now when I got the sound working properly, I would like to see a picture too!

My intention is to get the video (DVD) picture on TV screen when the CCC is on "Cloned" mode. Now the Windows desktop and programs show all right on the TV screen too, but when I start a video (on what ever video player) the video player remains black on the TV screen, allthough the video is playing OK on the notebook screen...

???

I can get the video visible on TV screen with the "extended" mode, but I don't want/need that.

Anybody has a sollution?

I have also tried with different ATI drivers (6,9 and 7,2) but there is no difference.

OK! Sometimes reading the manual helps!

The videos can only be played on the primary display, so everything is working as it should.
You just simply have to select the TV as the primary display and you can see the videos on it. Then offcourse you won't see the videos on the notebook display. It's something you just have to live with...
