Why is VNC Support so BAD ?

Postby wupch » Tue Jul 31, 2018 11:37

As of elux Version 5.6.X, and especially in 6.X.X the VNC Support for S520 Devices is virtually useless.

- the Session Configurator does not allow for setting advanced options
- a vnc connection will crash with a Seg Fault when you change from windowed display to full screen.
- in Version 6.1.1, VNC Connection settings cannot be stored at all.

With already XDMCP Support removed, and now VNC virtually useless, downgrading to 4.X.X seems to be the only option, if you want to use a Futro S520 as a Client in an X-Environment...
