I'm trying to enable Windows 7 readyboost feature using the internal flash memory reader and MemoryStick PRO 8GB card. It doesn't work. The readyboost page of properties of the flash volume says (translation from Russian) "This device cannot be used for Readyboost. This device will not speed up the system as it lacks the required performance characteristics".
The same flash card works fine with Readyboost in my SCALEO P desktop i.e. not a card issue.
I have already upgraded to the latest available card drivers:
Code: Select all
O2Micro Integrated MS/xD Controller driver version : 1.0.2.812 @ 13.05.2009
Readyboost works fine with USB sick. But the usb stick is vulnerable to breakage as it spans out of the PC perimeter. Internal card is much more preferable.
Any ideas?
