Stylistic 5032D Finger Print Reader

I have just taken delivery of a stylistic 5032 and am having a few problems. Firstly the self orientating screen is not always self orientating, some times it does work then other times it needs manual intervention.

Secondly the finger print reader does not seem to work, and under device manager I cannot determine which device it is (probably one of the many HID Compliant Devices.) Under Smarty Administration, Im getting "sensor timed out" message when I try to register a finger print. Anybody else have similar issues? Thanks Tim
