Problem with search function and error message *SMTP/Mail*

Hi,

there are two known errors:
1. search function shows sometimes a timeout
2. error messages regarding mail problems

This two "bugs" will be solved on Monday.

still got errors like the following on search function:

@matro: Our database server wasn´t available at Sunday. Now it works fine.

Search function still hangs.
Several times I sarted a search and everytime I got a timeout and a broken connection.

I´ll build at the next maintenance a new search index.
This action should minimize the actual seach time.

Geez.. that topic is as old as my grandma, but i still cant get the search engine show any results.. All I get is a very big screen, with a slide bar that goes down a page or two filled with weird numbers. And if it isnt that, it is a "The page cannot be displayed." Timeout most of the times. I've got few questions to make and i cant search for any similar topics in order to not to double-post
