No network adapters under device manager

Postby Verax » Fri Aug 10, 2012 10:56

I have recently formatted my PC and changed to XP. Now I don't have network adapters under device manager and no Local Area Connection in network connections. I have ESPRIMO P5905, I'm not a computer wiz so I dont know what to do. I dont have the driver CD and I can't access BIOS. I know it sound hopeless but I hope this can be fixed
Here's a pic of my device manager

thats weird should be a On Board Lan Broadcom BCM5751 (10/100/1000)
if device manager is not picking it up at all you will not be able to attach a driver.
If you can try tapping F2 then Delete and continously do this when you power on this may allow you into bios area - load bios defaults then recheck device manager to see if you have a listing under other devices for "ethernet adapter"

Return to “ESPRIMO”
