Esprimo P5600 (AMD) with 4GB RAM and Win 7 64-bit

Postby marin » Wed May 09, 2012 14:27

Good day,

my Windows 7 64 bit is freezing in the boot process
when I did upgrade Esprimo P5600 (AMD) from 1GB (2x 512MB) to 4GB RAM (4x 1GB DIMM 400MHz).

The Windows 7 64 bit is working with 3GB RAM (2x 1GB DIMM 400MHz and 2x 512MB DIMM 400MHz).

My BIOS is Version 5.00 R1.08.2030.A2 and extended POST tests complete.

Is there something I need to change in Win 7?

Thank you!
Kind Regards,
Marin

1 of your sticks may be faulty have you swap tested the ram ?

Max Memory 4GB DDR* 400MHz so it should work.
Still useing the onboard video?
* 4GB address space thereof, max. 3.0GB DDR400 usable for physical main memory. Video: On-board (SiS761) up to 128MB shared memory + PCI Express x16 slot
