[W340] Windows XP Pro install problem

Postby NagyDomy » Sun Mar 11, 2007 13:36

I have a Celsius W340. I try to install Windows XP Pro, it start normaly (blue screen: top - "Windows Install", bottom - white line, and many file name). After that I got a "blue dead": System found error, etc... etc... Tech. info: pci.sys error.

(The computer contained only motherboard integrated parts, BIOS setting is default. The pre-installed Windows run normaly - but unfortunately it is home version and I must use pro version. I try two different, orginal install CD, same results.)

Any idea?

Thanks

After doing a google for your problem, it seems it could be you need service pack 2.
You can integrate sp2 by using autostreamer http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=223562
or nlite http://www.nliteos.com/index.html
