P5925, iQ35, D2584-A1x graphic card problem

I bought nvidia geforce n9500 gt 1gb ddr2 &since then i am having problems with my computer & windows xp ,some friends told me that this card isn't compatible with win xp & others told me that this card isn't compatible with this pc because it requires minimum 350w power supply ,but mine is 260w.Please help me & if this card isn't compatible with my pc ,can anyone tell me the compatible graphic cards with this computer.

If you only have a 260w PSU You will definately need to updrage the CPU in order to run the card, make sure you have plugged the power to the card in too and not just slotted it into the PCI-E
