E8110 display

Postby HumanV0.1 » Tue Jun 26, 2012 22:05

I bust the display on my E8110, so I replaced it. But, you guessed it, I got the wrong model, I purchesed the SXVGA+ model instead of the XGA model.

I found this out on boot, it will only boot to the external monitor, the LCD stays blank (just the backlight comes on when selected).

Any way to make this work? I tried reflashing the bios with the latest release.

Thanks in advance for any tips.

Srry late reply ! You might be able to if you replace the CABLE LCD FOR XGA for this one :
CABLE LCD FOR SXGA+
part no. FUJ:CP274130-XX
material no. 88039269
unless the screen you got comes with the cable already attached and it doesnt work.
