low volume on A531

Postby trudgey1 » Thu May 10, 2012 10:57

The volume on my new A531 is really low even though all controls are on maximum. I have returned to the retailer who suggested this forumto get an answer. I purchased the laptop 10 days ago and am really surprised at the lack of info regarding this problem. Is it the speakers? Are there hidden controls in the system? When using Skype it is impossible to hear the other party! The retailer has said they would exchange if there is no 'cure' but I really like the rest of the performance. Please help as I've tried everything I know including searching for new drivers etc.(A531 with 6gb and 640gb using Windows 7 and realtex audio)
