I recently installed Windows 8 onto my AH550 to test it out. As usual, I installed all the corresponding drivers from the Fujitsu website. Everything was working perfectly except that vertical multitouch scrolling was absent from the Alps touchpad option list. I was able to enable horizontal multitouch scrolling, but I could not enable vertical.
To troubleshoot the problem, I installed the same Alps touchpad driver onto my Windows 7 partition, and it completely disabled my vertical multitouch scrolling function. Horizontal multitouch scrolling was still enabled though.
Could this be a defective driver?
