The BSOD comes up with an error start STOP:0x000000** (**something something)
you need to note down what the complaints about just the first section of the STOP code

The BSOD error FFFFFFF A800 6E11410.Have noticed that this changes to other errors.since my last post i spoke to microsoft and after another reinstall of windows 7 pro i managed, to install 60 updates.thought my problem was solved, but following an automatic update on restart BSOD again.tried system restore in safe mode:windows could not configure updates,BSOD again.

can you run the SystemDiagnostics DOS - http://tinyurl.com/FJdiagsIn the Zip file look for the .iso image and extract to desktop.
Use Active@isoburner to copy the iso image to a blank cd you can boot from : http://download.cnet.com/Active-ISO-Burner/3000-2646_4-10602452.htmlBoot from the cd and select full test.
Post back here any relevent ie: no fault found or error codes
