PH520 oem video drivers upgradeing

Postby myetbook » Mon Mar 07, 2011 17:18

i wanted to update the video drivers for my lb ph520. Windows 7 professional. I downloaded this 1.5gb game demo,
http://www.geforce.com/#/News/articles/ ... sis2_Email. The file installed and when i went to open it, the file said i had a unsupported video card. So i looked at the specs and searched ati 4225. I found http://amd-m880g-with-ati-mobility-rade ... ormer.com/. It said there was a newer versiond of drivers. The links are on the left-hand side, not the google adv. on the right-hand side. After choosing my OS it was a 117mb download. It is by HP and and includes ATI software. After opening the .exe file. I chose to download to program files. It installed the drivers to the new version. Then the ATI wanted to install. It said most of the ATI programs were up to date and only installed one program to change video modes. And the game started up after a few seconds of a dark screen. And that game demo works with hardly any stuttering. I am not saying that this is a solution, your experiences may be different than mine. I can always go into control panel and roll back to the OEM video drivers.
