Postby tmonday » Tue Jun 22, 2010 2:17

Hi, there

A lifebook T1010 (FPC01138Ak)flashed a bios(v1.13) from internet got a black screen.
This bios is possibly from here http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/com/suppo ... loads.html since this seems the only place to obtain v1.13 bios for T1010.

When powered on it give a long beep, then after quit a few seconds followed by a long beep two short beep.

Please help to flash back to v1.12

thanks

The problem is the Fn keys in bellow the screen don't work when using 1.12 bios. The 1.13 bios seems implemented the win 7 support (see text bellow). Why it gave a dark screen after flashing it?

Therefor, an official rescue is badly needed for the damage of this update.

I. BIOS Flash update in DOS-mode:
_______________________________________________________________________________
There are two possibilities to flash the BIOS.

1. using a Floppy Disc (if available):
--------------------------------------
Please unzip the received "FTS_BIOSDOSFlashDiscImageLifebookTT10101.13_xxxxx.zip"
file.
After running TT10101.13.exe the BIOS Update files will be copied to
an inserted floppy disc.

After this the medium should contain the following files:

flash.bat
BIOS FLASH FILES
Readme.TXT (this file)

2. using a CD:
--------------
Please unzip the received "FTS_BIOSFlashISOCDImageLifebookTT10101.13_xxxxx.zip"
file.
Burn the iso file "TT10101.13.ISO"
to the CD.

To flash your BIOS, boot from the medium into DOS-mode and run flash.bat.

II. BIOS Flash update from WINDOWS:
_______________________________________________________________________________

Download the FTS_BIOSWindowsFlash32bitLifebookTT10101.13_xxxxx.BUP
and save it to the WINDOWS desktop or to a folder you like.

Close all programs and applications

To flash your BIOS run FTS_BIOSWindowsFlash32bitLifebookTT10101.13_xxxxx.BUP using the DeskFlash tool.
