Searched the forum here and unless I'm doing something wrong, unable to find anything in search.
Had a short term need for a laptop and was given a very lightly used "looking" one by an older brother for free, couldn't beat the price.
Its an Lifebook S2010 and it works great. I've put new battery in it and bumped up the ram to 1 gig.
The fan seems unusually noisy and makes intermittent growling noises, slow and fast, I'm assuming its the CPU fan and it probably just needs to be cleaned or possibly replaced unless they just make that much noise?
I don't want to cook the cpu if its bad and would like to try to do it myself to save a few bucks.
I'm unable to find information online for disaasembly/assembly instructions or even a replacement fan anywhere.
Can anyone help with finding instructions/parts for this thing?
