[E7010] Bios does not recognize hard disk

My laptop Lifebook E7010 does not recognize hard disk. I went to BIOS and found that it says:
Primary Master (None).
Secondary Master [UJDA340-(SM)]
The laptop does recognize CD ROM. I can boot to CD ROM. I have downloaded the latest BIOS and upgraded the BIOS. I have tried different hard drives. Hard drives are good.
The BIOS says Phoenix utility. BIOS Version 1.28 Bios date 11/30/2004.
Pentium 4 - M 1.8 Ghz, 512MB memory.
Whatever hard drive I put in it does recognize at all.
