xi 2550 want to install SSD, help me!

Postby Immy » Tue Aug 21, 2012 8:58

Good day, my xi 2550 is very slow at the moment, so I want to install SSD like primary drive. But I don't know how, in wich port, wich model (in PC I have crucial m4 128 gb, want it on laptop), may be I need to delete one of my HDD, and place SDD? Please tell me, who knows this problem, or where I should read about it.

Amilo xi2550, intel T9300, 2x2gb DDRII, 250gbx2 HDD.

P.S: And why I couldn't find driver for my laptom to XP or win 7 x64? ((( I got 4gb ram and can't even install win7 x64, without personal xi2550 drivers it was too laggy and baggy ((.

seems that Fujitsu didn't certified this model with Windows 7 (requires official certified Microsoft Test which aren't free of costs :( ).
So finally they didn't release any drivers for Windows 7.

Maybe you can try to install system with Microsoft native drivers (Windows 7).
Finally update known drivers with optimized versions and additionally drivers from Internet (check Intel/ATI (Hardware Heaven Mobility Modder)).
But keep in mind this is unsupported by Fujitsu

And what about SSD? Didn't anyone know? Or where I could find my motherboard specifications and available ports?
