I received old Fujitsu laptop for free. It had Celeron 2GHz -processor. I installed Pentium 4 2.66GHz and it took many attempts to get the machine to recognize the CPU and even after it did, the machine seems to crash the first it should continue after bios screen, it resets and after the second time it continues to boot to Windows where it works fine and the FSB is 533Mhz. Shouldn't this machine support FSB 533MHz officially, I think so?
Another thing is that I found pin mod for FSB 400MHz which should force a processor to work at 533MHz FSB, I did it accordinly the instructions but the CPU still boots with 400MHz FSB.
So, is this normal? The exact model is D7830-FI2E.
