please help me. my screen died at my amilo pi 2550. if i connect an external monitor i see a messy screen, with multiple images together. the windows works good, always logs in. if i start the os in safe mode, only the external screen shows the graphical surface with some colored vertical lines.
any suggestions> what is wrong, the mainboard or the graphic card (ati mobility radeon hd2400) or the display cable is corrupted. ????
in a bizarre way sometimes the system starts without any problems.

hi,
I think the problem is the vga card (ati hd 2400) which is attached in mainboard. You can find in e-bay (reused is cheaper).
By the other hand, i think this forum is quite useless (in my opinion).
