I'm trying to upgrade my old-timer with built-in subwoofer and I've got a problem. Prior to the upgrade I've had a Realtek ALC885 Sound Card with 2.0 output. I've found some other laptops such as a1667g, Xi1546 which have a built in subwoofer. I bought one and put it inside, where it fits with size and screws perfectly between graphic card and a border of a laptop. The cable from subwoofer is long enough to provide it directly to the sound card. On the original card was no output for subwoofer so I got a card from a1667g with 2.1 output and there's a possibility to connect subwoofer to the card. But... I've got an error. After connecting all cables the laptop doesn't turn on. After pressing the power button the green status LED's turn on for 0,1s including the LCD and it turns off after 0,1s. After disconnecting audio cable on the motherboard the laptops turns on normally. I've tried an audio card with VIA VT1618 chipset and I get still the same error.
