Fujitsu Amilo Li 1818 keeps re-starting

Postby olharapo » Sun Oct 02, 2011 14:32

Hi everyone,

I have my Amilo for 4 years and it has survived a lot of work.

Unfortunatelly it keeps re-starting by itself randomly. Usually it happens because I press the keyboard anywhere, other times because I plug an usb device...

Sometimes it jams and cannot start computer for long time, because it keeps re-starting at start up. It does this after the message saying your windows was not properly closed, do you want to use safe mode (...).

Sometimes I just make a tiny vibration on the screen and it re-starts. Then you never know when its going to be working back again or if it is going to burn the hard drive.

I have no clue what the problem can be or if its fixable. Could it be a short-circuit in the hard drive itself?

best regards
Joao

try running the fujitsu diagnostic tool. you will need to use another working computer to create the bootable cd. use nero as par included pdf instruction or an app called active@iso free download.
SystemDiagnostics DOS -> http://tinyurl.com/FJdiags
