Replacing Keyboard on Xi3650

Postby RichL » Fri Dec 03, 2010 19:23

Hi,

Are there any guides available or has anyone replaced a keyboard on a Xi3650?

I have a replacement keyboard, I just dont know which screws to remove (if at all) or which bits come apart on the laptop to enable me to replace it.

Thanks a lot.

on most fujitsu siemens laptops there is 1 screw @ the bottom of the laptop with something written next to it like KB from keyboard or a keyboard sign

loose that screw and then pull out the keyboard by starting @ the F1 F2 F3 buttons with a flat screwdriver u should just be able to wiggle the old keyboard out

if u have to use to much force then calm and find more screws to loosen but normally keyboard is stick with 1 screw

Hope this helps
