[XI1546] SOUNDCARD / SOUND PROBLEM

I have Fujitsu Siemens XI1546. I`m running WINDOWS 7 : One day my sound just stopped - i`ve tried many drivers but i think the sound card is broken or something... Can someone give me some details about the soundcard? I`ve opened the laptop inside but I couldn`t see it

I doubt there is a soundcard as such, in most notebooks it's integrated to the motherboard, so it can't be taken out and replaced. Also doesn't show up in the specs. If that's worn out I don't think anything can be done about it, except maybe give it a good punch. :p

You're sure it's not just the speakers or the connectors, right? Try different outputs if you can, like some headphones or USB speakers.
