Test your RAM with MemTest86 or GoldMemory.

You cannot repair bad RAM module... you have to purchase new module - in any local computer shop, just ask for SODIMM DDR2 module 1 or 2 GB size, speed 800 MHz.

P.S. overheating might be causing damage to the RAM, so don't be surprised if your 2nd or brand new module gets the same destiny after some time...

I think that your motherboard has gone crazy (perhaps dead)... and the bad news is that you cannot* change notebook MB on your own.. you'll have to go to Fujitsu local office and ask them for a help (I hope that your notebook is still under warranty period, even if it isn't they can help you since motherboards are distributed under their OEM program).

___
*you can change MB on your own if you got exactly the same model from another faulty notebook (in which case the CPU or something else is dead..)

P.S. notebook motherboards are very expensive, and in most cases you can buy a new notebook for a little more $... :?

It's been less than 2 years since January 2009. Don't you have a minimum 2yr warranty in your area (EU)?
