If Fujitsu dont make a Driver Update, they have a Problem because in Germany the Xi 3650 is selled as "Windows 7 ready".

Ok, if it is Win 7 ready there is Win 7 drivers already. Is that what you mean?
It is not the reason why not to make those fucking drivers !

The simple Reason is, that Fujitsu in this point has slept. After the WIndows 7 release, i have called the Hotline, and the Supporter has told me, the drivers are in Production. Really poor....Windows 7 Beta is available about 6 Months BEFORE the WIndows 7 release. And nobody makes drivers? Really Bad.....

There seem to be drivers now for hybrid graphics etc for Windows 7 - although it says they work they are not supported.

Has anyone tried and succeeded to install Win 7 yet (clean install) using these drivers and can confirm hybrid graphics works?

Unfortunately it doesn't for me. When I try to install 130 M drivers (which Fujitsu is actually offering for 3650 at the moment), the installer complains it can't find compatible drivers for the hardware.

I ordered an update cd (windows 7 74 bit) and installed it on my xi 3650.
I don't know exactly what I did, but on the end, everything was working !
I used some drivers from xi 3650 vista 64bit and some from 3670 xi windows 7 64bit.
Just try out a little.

Now I am using ubuntu in a dual boot system and I really love it, Only once in a while I use windows for some applications that do not run in ubuntu.

Yeah but did you just choose the upgrade method or did you do a complete new installation from scratch, wiping everything else?

The upgrade will be okay as it will not really mess too much with the drivers however it has been reported as sluggish and slower than if you do a clean install of Windows 7.

Okay I did it!!

Did a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit.

Kept none of the settings and formatted the hard drive before installation.

First thing I noticed was that the sound was terrible, but the driver for Win7 works and that is sorted.

I also downloaded they hybrid graphics driver and at first it did not work and locked my system and had to hold down the power button but I re-booted and tried installing the driver again and to my amazement, it worked. The hybrid graphics mode works, the little running man on the keyboard can be pressed and it switches between the modes enabling both graphics cards to be used.

The only other driver I needed was the one for the on-board card reader, and after downloading my SD cards all worked and were recognised by the laptop.

So all in all, a success.

It seems that there still isn't a solution for Windows 7 32bit ??
Head up display, multimedia bar, and especially the hardware switch between graphic cards doesn't work since my Win7 upgrade.
Also the volume level seems too low, while i had maxed out every possible sound setting. Is this also a related unsolvable symptom of my Win7 upgrade, or can I just install a fresh sound driver (weblink?).

Can we still expect a solution from FS ?? I've been waiting for months now.
What's the best thing we can do in the meantime ? Change the BIOS setting and always work with the quick GeForce card ?
