jumping/erratic cursor

guys, i have an amilo li3910 notebook and when i type the curser will jump to another part of the types text and i normally have to retype everything. this happens on various things like mail, forums etc and is really annoying :evil: . have you suffered and whats the remedy?

it took 3 attempts just to write this up!

Hello I have the same problem with my amilo 3655 so I am also interested about a solution on the problem.

i googled this and it appears a lot of people have this issue, oh by the way, it took me a couple of attempts to write this :twisted:

I had this problem, and I have a solution.
This would be very annoying in Word, where I'd suddenly start typing in the middle of the paragraph above where I was supposed to be.

TouchFreeze: Utility for Windows that disables touchpad automatically while you are typing text.

thanks for that, but it happens even if my fingers have not touched the touchpad. a bit annoyed that no technical help has been given :(

download the synaptics touch pad drivers from synaptics site.
I know its apparently a keyboard problem, but believe me this fixes the issue you (and I) had.
